With approaching weather Duquoin has moved their track meet from Friday to today. Obviously with our track meet and Sr. Night today we could not do that. Tomorrow track canceled.
BB and SB with Grayville from April 27, has been rescheduled to May 12. I had mentioned that previously but this is just a reminder. BB will be played at Wayne City and SB will be here and Sr. Night. Baseball Sr. Night remains May 8 at Wayne City.
Those of you attending todays baseball game in Brownstown, the address is 421 S. College Ave. Games are at their school.
3rd grade spent some time outside on this beautiful day practicing their red words and leaving positive messages.
We recognized our eleven 8th grade track athletes. It has been a fabulous inaugural season on the new track.
Orders are due May 6 to receive them at the state meet. You can order after May 6 and they will be mailed.

8th Grade recognition night tonight at our track meet. Field events will be conducted promptly at 3:00. Our ceremony will take place right before running events are to start. This will allow everyone who needs to be here, time to get here.

We celebrated Hailei Marlow and Jaxon Popplewell at the Jefferson County Principals Student Recognition Dinner. It is always an honor to recognize students who exhibit outstanding qualities.
Our Regional Champion Basketball Store is closing. This is the second and final time we offered it. If you want an order place it today asap or let me know you are getting an order in or it will close.
JH Track 8th grade night is Tuesday at 3:00. We have 11 8th graders we are honoring.

Due to several factors todays HS BB/SB games with Grayville here are postponed to May 12, here. SB Sr. Night honoring our 2 seniors will also be that night.
The peewee track meet scheduled for today (4/27) is being moved up to a 2:00 start time to stay ahead of the rain.
Board President, Steve Tate, presided over his last regular Board meeting last week. Steve served the district as a Board member since 2018. The district made many facility and curriculum enhancements under his leadership. Thank you for your service.
The state signs are up! With this facility, the program numbers, and most importantly the work the kids are putting in, we hope for many more!
