The district has 9 A/C window units for sale. These were in the grade school prior to our new HVAC that was installed this summer.
Price per unit is $25 each and are sold AS IS. Sale is final after pickup/payment. Each unit was in proper working condition when they were removed.

On Friday, September 22 Bluford Schools will be doing a hat day to raise money to show our support for the school communities of Benton and West Frankfort. Students can pay $1 to wear a school, appropriate hat.

Mrs. Willett and Mrs. Lowe's first grade classes celebrated Talk Like a Pirate Day.

It was an exciting weekend for the HS and MS Cross Country Programs!
The Middle School squads headed to Mt Vernon High School running the Summersville Invite. All the kids ran great, and the Varsity boys squad came home with another 1st place finish! This is the 3rd first place finish as a team this season! Lily Rains also medaled for the girls team! Overall great performances for the middle school teams!
The High School squads headed to a huge meet in Peoria, with over 3000 runners! It was one of the most competitive meets in the state, and our kids stepped up to the task! 9 of the 11 runners from our program this weekend had new personal records against tough 2A and 3A competition. There were over 70 different teams at the meet!
Races of the day include Jr. Jaxon Dalby who broke 16:00 minutes for the first time in his career, running 15:51! SO. Axtyn Sherlock broke 20:00 minutes for the first time, doing so in exciting fashion running an official time of 19:59.9! Before this meet Axtyn had never broke 21:00 minutes before! What a race!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the JH SB regional Thursday Sept 21st first game start time has been changed from 4:00 to 3:30. We are sorry for this but it is unavoidable.
This is a second reminder to anyone who may have missed first notice. The JH CC County Meet that was scheduled for Sept. 20 has been moved to Sept. 27, 4:00 at the MV Airport.
Just a reminder, JH SB 8th Grade Night ceremony will start at 5:00 tonight. JH BB 8th Grade Night will start after it, roughly 5:20 or so.

We play 4:00 Sept. 19 vs OBR. Should we win that we would play 4:00 Sept. 21. Should we win that its on to the Championship Sept 25, 4:30.
There will be 2 games on the 19th and 21st, 4:00 and 5:30.

MS Cross Country Results from Salem Invite on 9/13
The Trojan and Lady Trojan MS XC squads took on a very large meet @ Salem yesterday. The meet included a majority of Class L schools such as Salem, Olney, Benton, Highland, Casey(Mt. Vernon), Centralia, and Breese. It also included many class S schools as well.
Out of 16 full Varsity Boys teams, and countless other schools in participation as well, the Bluford-Farrington boys took home 4th place, only getting beat by St. Joe(Olney), Aviston, and Olney Middle school. The boys had 3 medalist to lead the team to their 4th place finish.
The girls squad and JV boys also ran very well, with Lily Rains medaling in the Varsity girls race! Many of these runners had much better times than last season, even with the course being longer than last year!
The Trojans and Lady Trojans just keep rollin!
