Bluford's Annual Christmas Parade


Parents/Guardians of Sophomores and Seniors, your student received a packet from Jostens in regards to Sophomore Class Rings and Senior Caps and Gowns today. They should be bringing it home to fill out and it is due back on 11/18. If you have questions, please email mminor@blufordschools.org.

Due to a scheduling conflict, tomorrow nights game will now be vs. Raccoon.
JV game will start at 6pm with Varsity to follow.
The game vs. Grayville has been rescheduled for 12/17 with a 5:30pm C game start time with JV and Varsity to follow.
Junior High Fall Sports Awards are Friday, November 14th from 5:30-6:30 in the Jr. High Gym. This is for anyone playing Jr. High baseball, softball, or XC.

WHS Beta Club is sponsoring a Non-Perishable Food Drive to help Jefferson County Food Pantries during this holiday season. All grade school and high school classes will be collecting items until December 5. The class that brings in the most items will win a pizza party for their class!!! Anyone that would like to contribute is welcome to drop off donations to the high school or grade school offices! Thank you for your continued support!

Our Veteran's Day Program will be this Thursday the 13th at 1:30pm.
We are looking for long-term substitute paraprofessionals! Please contact us if you are interested!

Come out and support our students and help our seniors earn scholarships! Our blood drive is Wednesday, November 12th from 12-5pm at the Bluford Ruritan Building.

We have some cold weather coming in next week! As a reminder, we will try to have PE and recess times outside as much as possible, weather permitting. Please send your child with a coat/jacket. Remind your children to keep track of their coat/jacket as our lost and found fills up quickly this time of year with kids leaving them in various places.

E-Learning packets are being sent home with students today. Please be sure to place these packets in a safe location so they’re ready to use when needed.
A few important reminders:
* E-Learning days will be announced through our School Reach system.
*Teachers will be available from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM on E-Learning days.
*Teachers will check their communication tools each hour between 8 AM and 1 PM.
*Students will have the E-Learning day plus one additional school day to complete and turn in their assignments for grading.
Thank you for your support in helping our students stay on track with learning!
