2nd grade also made covered wagons for their travels on the Oregon Trail!!

2nd Grade made butter in a jar! It took a lot of work but it paid off when they got to taste it on some bread!

2nd grade had a fun Pioneer Day! They had learned all about the Oregon Trail and moving west, then today got to partake in some Pioneer fun! Student played some pioneer games like barrel races, jump rope, and hoop rolling! They even had a guest speaker, "Daniel Boone!"

Congratulations to Mrs. Sherwin and Mr. Helm on being selected as November Staff of the Month! Nominations from colleagues include: "Mrs. Sherwin is the best! She creates the most engaging learning environment for her class and has amazing lessons! She is also an amazing co-worker. She is so quick to help anyone with whatever she can." Bluford's Annual Christmas Parade

Parents/Guardians of Sophomores and Seniors, your student received a packet from Jostens in regards to Sophomore Class Rings and Senior Caps and Gowns today. They should be bringing it home to fill out and it is due back on 11/18. If you have questions, please email mminor@blufordschools.org.

** JH Boys Basketball ** Due to a scheduling conflict, tomorrow nights game will now be vs. Raccoon. JV game will start at 6pm with Varsity to follow. The game vs. Grayville has been rescheduled for 12/17 with a 5:30pm C game start time with JV and Varsity to follow.

Junior High Fall Sports Awards are Friday, November 14th from 5:30-6:30 in the Jr. High Gym. This is for anyone playing Jr. High baseball, softball, or XC.

The Webber High School Student Council is excited to announce the School Spirit T-Shirt Bundle Sale. Each bundle includes three exclusive, limited-edition Trojan T-shirts, with each shirt designed to celebrate one of the theme nights for both the boys and girls basketball teams.

Each bundle is priced at $40 and is available to students, staff, and community members. This is a great opportunity to show your school spirit and support Webber athletics during the basketball season.

Order forms can be found in the High School Office, in Mr. Weathers’ room, or can be sent home with students upon request. Completed order forms may be returned to the High School Office, the Grade School Office, Stephanie Wilson or to Mr. Weathers.

WHS Beta Club is sponsoring a Non-Perishable Food Drive to help Jefferson County Food Pantries during this holiday season. All grade school and high school classes will be collecting items until December 5. The class that brings in the most items will win a pizza party for their class!!!
