Preschool screenings have been set for Wednesday, March 26th at Otterbein Church in Bluford. If you have a time scheduled they will stay the same.

The 5Essentials Parent Survey is still available! We need to reach 50% participation (or more) for each of our schools. This data is helpful to improve our schools! As we start our High School Track Season this week, we are going to be going back and looking at the history of our program!
We are starting out with a list of our All Time State Qualifiers. The information that was used for this list was taken directly from the IHSA Track and Field Website.
State Qualifiers are athletes who qualified for the state track meet by placing 1st, 2nd or hitting the state qualifying time or distance in their event. You can only qualify for state at the sectional meet, so you have to be clutch!
Breanna Bergbower was our first State Qualifer in 2007, qualifying in the 3200m Run.
We qualified our first field event in 2012 with Kamillia Hathaway qualifying in the Discus.
We qualified our first relay in 2022, with our 4x800 relay of Chase Smith, Jeremiah Cramer, Jaxon Dalby, and Seth Hamerski technically being the first, though we qualified all 4 relays that year, they just happened to be the first relay event of the day!
Mallory Bergbower and Jaxon Dalby are currently tied for most season having qualified for the state meet, each having gone 3 years out of 4. Jaxon is currently a senior and will be looking to take the lead by qualifying all 4 years his senior track season!
Weston Hails currently holds the record for most events qualified for at the state meet, with having qualified in 6 events over a 2 year period. Chase Smith, Elijah Marlow, and R.J. Hargrove are in 2nd with 5 events, and Jaxon Dalby is currently in 3rd with 4 events qualified for.
Of our state qualifiers, Seth Hamerski and Weston Hails are the only two that have placed in the top 10 in state. Seth Hamerski earned All-State honors in 2021 by placing 6th in the 800m Run, and placed 10th in 2022 missing All-State by 1 place. Weston Hails placed 10th in 2022, narrowly missing All-State honors by 1 place.
Stay tuned for more Webber Track and Field History throughout the season!
