Fan Bus permission slips are due tomorrow (Tuesday morning). Tickets are $7 and should be purchased through the GoFan link or bring $7 and we can purchase your ticket.
Bus is open to 6-12 grade students. Bus will leave at 4pm and return after the game.
Students must ride to and from the game.
Basketball parents will be providing food for anyone riding the fan bus after school so they do not have to go home and come back.
This is a reminder that High School Track and Field practice starts tomorrow for both girls and boys.
Practice will be from 3:30-5:00. Athletes will meet at the track. No Varsity Basketball players or cheerleaders are expected to show up, thankfully they have much more important matters on their minds!!!
Basketballmania has swept Bluford for sure. I have rescheduled the JH VB TUES.to Wed. That way everyone that wants to go to. Effingham for BB can.
Areasports.net will provide a free live broadcast with play-by-play for Tuesday nights sectional contest. If you can't make it to Effingham, tune in to support the Trojans!
ADDED INFORMATION FOR FAN BUS:
If a student is unable to purchase a digital ticket, and wants to ride the bus, we can purchase for them if they provide $7 cash with the permission slip.
Also, with the bus leaving at 4pm, any student riding the fan bus can stay after school until the bus leaves and the players parents will provide food for them. Big thanks to all involved!
In response to Tuesday. the JH VB game that night will either be rescheduled, if I can find a common open date, or canceled outright so as many folks can attend HS BB.
ATTENTION PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
The plan is to send a fan bus to the Boys Sectional game to Effingham St. Anthony Tuesday night (February 27). Game is at 6pm with return time approximately after 9pm.
The fan bus is open for students 6-12 only. Permissions slips must be returned to the office by Tuesday morning by 9AM.
Students that ride the fan bus to the game MUST ride it home. No parent/guardian will be able to sign a student out.
Bus will leave at 4:00PM.
Tickets are $7 and MUST be purchased through GoFan and have a cell phone with them to show the mobile ticket at the door. They will need to bring extra money for concessions.
Proof of mobile ticket will be required when students turn in the permission slip.
Students can pick up a permission slip from the office Monday morning.

OK Webber Nation, I'm going to tell you all I know to this point, which is not a lot ( easy schmarties!) Our boys won the Altamont regional for their 30 th victory of season. They now move on to the Effingham-St. Anthony Sectional where they will meet the 4 seed Arcola (we are 3 seed by the way) 6:00 Tuesday Feb. 27 at St. Anthony gym. The address to St. Anthony school is 304 E. Roadway Ave, Effingham 62401. The winner of this game will playe the winner of COR and Tuscola, Friday March 1 at St. Anthony. We COULD meet an old familiar MTC Conference foe. That would be cool. What remains to be learned is: e-ticket pricing and a link to purchase e-tickets, if they will accept cash at door, what time doors open, and if the game will be streamed or not and if so a link to that.
I sent fellow AD Kevin Palmer an e mail requesting the answers to our unknowns. Rest assured Webber Nation as soon as I am privy to this info. I will pass it along to you.GO TROJANS!!!
Boys are coming through Mt. Vernon now. The fire trucks will escort them into Bluford from Rt. 15 to the school in about 10-15 minutes.
Another year added to our championship banners. 30 wins for this team and a trip to Effingham St. Anthony Tuesday for the Sectionals. We play at 6 Tuesday night. GREAT year Trojans. Keep it going guys. GO TROJANS!!!

Monday is spring picture day for the grade school. We will also be taking pictures for the following sports/activities: JH volleyball, JH bowling, Pee wee- Girl's basketball, 3rd grade basketball, 4th grade basketball, 5th grade basketball, and cheerleading Scholar Bowl Gifted Brain Games
Fan Bus will leave BGS at 5pm. Please have your student here no later than 5pm.
Bluford Unit School District #318 is selling personal property of a 1988 Mobile Home (double wide 1152 sq ft).
Buyer must move mobile home at their expense.
