The new playground equipment is ready to go in!
Bluford boys won 3rd place at the Wayne City 5th grade tournament. Congratulations boys! I also want to send well wishes out to Waylon, who was injured early in the 1st qt.

Congratulations to board member, Mario Hodge, on being named a finalist for the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce small business person of the year! Mr. Hodge operates Parkway Shoes in Mt. Vernon.
Congratulations to 4th grade teacher, Terri Helm, on being awarded a Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce grant. Mrs. Helm will use the funds to implement more STEM activities in her classroom.

Parents: We received our first quarterly rewards payment from Kroger. We received approval for the program on February 12. The earnings quarter ended on February 26. In that short two week period, we had 37 households sign up and received $22.70. We are looking forward to participating in the program! Thank you to everyone who has signed up.
