The IHSA State Cross Country finals are complete! It was a rough day to say the least, with 1A racers facing the harshest conditions many coaches were saying they had ever seen. Pouring rain, 25+ mph winds, and dropping temperatures at the start and during the boys race. Yet, they pushed onward, and represented their school and community with all they had. It wasn’t their best race, or best time, but as they have lived by all season “if you finish the race, and can truly say you gave your very best, then there is no reason to be upset”, and that is what they were able to say at the end, that they gave their very best. Congratulations boys, what a great season! Till next season!

The high school art class has been hard at work and turned out some amazing work!

The Pre-K kiddos had a blast trick or treating through the building yesterday!

Mr. Weather's 5th grade art students are "Popping with Gratitude". The assignment was to think "outside of the box" for what they are grateful for. Here are some of the responses written on the corn leaves: sports, love, friends, having a yard, clothes, piano skills, vacations, able to draw, living here, school, holidays, colors, books, good jobs, music, drawing, video games, life, plants, clean white paper, good education, bathrooms, movies, pumpkins, good harvest, family, having a special needs brother, and racing. Excellent 5th Grade!

Tickets Punched! Great Sectional meet for the Trojans that was filled with PR’s, and a trip to the State Finals for not one, but TWO Webber Trojans in Sophomore Jaxon Dalby and Freshman Nathaniel Marlow! Bright future for a very young team!

What a wonderful event! Thank you to the Beta Club for bringing so much fun for our kiddos.

The Beta Club would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of the groups, individuals, Webber Fire Department, and community for coming to tonight’s Trunk or Treat! We had over 200 kiddos come through tonight and it was amazing! We hope to make this an annual tradition!!
