It is now official. Webber HS will be hosting the Girls HS BB Regional Feb.11-17,
AND Boys HS BB Regional Feb. 18-24.
We've come a long way baby!

Good grief, I feel like Ole Mother Hubbard. I have so many teams I don't know what to do, (actually I do ). Anywho, tonight's JH VB practice has been moved up to our HS to accommodate pee wee practice, which necessitated an earlier Girls HS BB practice, which became available with our Boys HS BB playing tonight.
Welcome to my world.

Light Athletic week this week. Our HS Boys BB plays tonight at 6:00 in the MTC semifinals vs. top seeded COR at Woodlawn. They will play again Saturday either for Third and Fourth or Championship pending outcome of tonight.
On another front, our JH Bowlers started last night with tryouts. Tryouts will conclude Monday Jan. 23 from 4-6 at Nu Bowl Lanes in MV. Season starts Feb 1.

There will be no Kids Quest after school today, 1/19/2023.

Congratulations to our December students of the month!

8th grade night and final home game of the season for the Bluford-Farrington Trojans.

Due to a scheduling conflict the JH volleyball practice scheduled for Tuesday, January 17 has been cancelled. Practice will take place from 5:30-7:00 on Wednesday, January 18.

It was a BUSY day on the hardwood. K-1 started things off. They were followed by an 8-1 day by Bluford/Webber teams! Second grade won two against Wayne City. All of the 3-5 teams took down Rome. The HS girls fell to Meridian and the HS boys won the JV and V against Red Hill!

Congratulations to Raymond Andrews for advancing to the bowling sectional next weekend in Collinsville!

Saturday afternoon basketball is underway! The boys are taking on Red Hill.

The boys bowling team is in action today at the regional. It's a packed house with 16 teams!

The Farmer Frenzy Girls HS BB Tournament that Elverado was hosting next week is cancelled. Searching for a game or two for next week now.
On a brighter note, our HS Boys are 4 seed in the upcoming MTC Tournament hosted by Woodlawn. With the 4 seed brings a first round home game Jan 17. The game is vs Woodlawn (ironic isn't it) and starts at 7pm, in the friendly confines of Webber Gymnasium.

Just an attendance reminder: If your child will be absent, you must call the school by 9 am the day of the absence. Please call the grade school at 732-8242 or the high school at 732-6121. You can leave a voicemail if it is after hours.

Yearbook flyers are on the way for the High School! Below is the link to order if you want to get a head start.

We are so proud of all the fine accomplishments we are seeing here from our athletic teams and athletes. The latest in a long line is in todays Sentinel Newspaper. In the sports section you will see that our JH Boys BB won the recent Spring Garden tournament, great job guys! You will see that Edyn Knight was named second team all tournament at Woodlawn JH Girls BB Tourney. Finally, you will see that Anna Frey was elected to the HS Girls BB MTC all tournament team. As I said we are so very proud of our players, coaches, and their teams. Keep up the great work Webber/Bluford-Farrington Nation. We appreciate you all.
