Mr. Herzing has dedicated his life to students at Webber. This very nice article was in the news!

Pre-k made the news with front page coverage of their fashion show!

Few seasons end the way one would like, but we are alwful proud of what was achieved. In the news!

Move over Green Bay, we've got a new contender for Titletown USA. Our Bluford/Webber Trojans have claimed 3 regional championships this year, Boys JH BB, Boys HS BB, and now HS Scholar Bowl. For good measure our JH CC team qualified for State. What a year for Webber and Bluford Nation. Great to be a Trojan.

BACK 2 BACK REGIONAL CHAMPIONS! Your Webber High School Scholastic Bowl team won regionals for the second year in a row, defeating Nashville and Sparta in the two regional games to win the title! 2023 is the year of the TROJAN!

Webber Trojans are back-to-back Regional Scholar Bowl Champs!

Bad news Bluford Nation. Those attending our JH VB game this evening will not be able to partake in our fabulous popcorn because for unforeseen reasons we will not offer a concession stand this evening. So sorry to be bearer of bad news.

Webber-Wayne City takes on the SIU indoor meet today! Small group because of basketball team success, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

In the news! Seeet sixteen!

JH open track is canceled today. Anyone guess why?

Don;t forget Webber Nation anyone not able to make tonights Sectional Final can still see our Trojans on You Tube areasports.net. Our HS Booster club graciously purchased the streaming rights for the tournament. Stream starts around 6:45 and tip off is at 7.

It is always an honor to recognize students who exhibit outstanding qualities. Had a great time celebrating Kadi Bain and Landon Cook at the Illinois Principal Association-Egyptian Region Student Recognition Breakfast.

Congratulations to two stellar Webber athletes on their post season recognition. The Midland Trail released the all-conference team.

Webber Nation, we have a fan bus going to Gallatin County Friday night. It will leave our parking lot at 5:15. Lets pack their gym with screaming Webber fans and help our boys to victory.
Should we win Friday, we would play Monday March 6, 6pm at the SIU-C Arena for the Super sectional title which is one game away from Champaign and the STATE tourney. Go get em Trojans!!!

Webber Nation: this is the e-ticket code for Friday night. We are highly encouraged to use this instead of paying at door. You can, however, still pay at door they prefer this to expediate lines.

I've been getting a lot of questions now on this Boys 2022-23 team and their place in Webber lore. Get a cup of coffee and your reading glasses out Nation, its history time.
Right now (well after tonight) there will be 16 teams in class 1A still playing basketball, and we are one of those. Quite an accomplishment indeed. This stage of the game is generally referred to as the sweet 16. Only one other time in our history have been part of a sweet 16. The HOF 2004-05 Boys team made sweet sixteen under the old 2 class system, now of which there are 4. Back then there were more teams in class A then what there are in the new 4 class system now. Back then their sweet 16 was the supersectional at SIU-C. Today our sweet 16 is a sectional championship. Back then 8 teams went to STATE, now just 4, so in essence our supersectional would be equivelant to a quarter final state game. The question, is this the farthest we have ever been ? The answer is yes and no. It depends on how you look at it. This team is writing their own book. Lets see how it ends. Then debate which was the best ever.

Congrats on another great win! Sweet sixteen! The Trojans will take on the winner of Wayne City/Mounds Meridian Friday night at 7:00.

Thursday March 2, JH VB will play a C game at 5:15 before the regularly scheduled match at 6. That game is at Jasper.
