During this hands-on investigation, students explored changes in states of matter by designing and building boats. to hold and float their snowmen” As their snowmen changed from a solid to a liquid, students conducted a scientific experiment focused on measuring mass, observing volume changes, collecting data over time, and analyzing how buoyancy affected their boat designs. This project allowed students to apply key science concepts while also strengthening skills in engineering design, data collection, measurement, and critical thinking. It was wonderful to see students problem-solve, collaborate, and explain the science behind their results.

Help Us Keep the Bluford District Food Pantry Stocked! 🍎🥣

Our food pantry has been a huge success in meeting the immediate needs of our students, but we need your help to keep the momentum going! With long weekends and spring break approaching, we are running low on several key items.
We are currently in need of:

🥜 Peanut butter & Jelly
🍎 Canned fruit & applesauce
🍮 Pudding & Jello cups
🧀 Macaroni and cheese cups
🥫 Canned meats or sauces with meat
🥞 Pancake syrup

Any and all donations are deeply appreciated! Donations can be dropped off at either the grade school or high school offices.

Thank you for supporting our students! 💙 #BlufordSchools #CommunitySupport #FoodPantry

This Friday, February 13th is a 11:30 students dismissal. After students dismiss, staff will be participating in a training by the Sheriff's Dept. No students or visitors can be present on campus during this time. If you see extra law enforcement vehicles at the school, it is no cause for alarm. They are assisting us in training.
