We have a 2nd top 20 1A state ranked relay for your high school Boys Track program.
The 4x800 of Damian Fleener, Brennan Tate, Nathaniel Marlow, and Jaxon Dalby ran 8:43 yesterday at Benton, moving them to 19th in the state for 1A.
You will notice quite a bit of similarities between the state ranked 4x4 and the state ranked 4x8, as Fleener, Marlow and Dalby run both. Ashton James is the 4th in the 4x4 and Brennan Tate the 4th in the 4x8.
Remarkable for a group of 5 kids.

High School Track and Field Results: Benton Chuck Oiler Invite
Yesterday the High School boys Track and Field program took 6 boys to the Benton Chuck Oiler Invitational to compete against a mostly 2A field of competition.
The day started off with the 4x800 squad of Damian Fleener, Brennan Tate, Nathaniel Marlow, and Jaxon Dalby retaking the top spot in our sectional rankings with a time of 8:43! This time puts them 22 seconds ahead of the next fastest time in our sectional! They placed 2nd behind Herrin overall in the race.
Next was the 400 meter dash where Damian Fleener PRd with a 55.8 and Ashton James PRd for 3rd all time 400 at Webber with a time of 54.8! He placed 4th in the event!
The 1600 meter was next where Brennan Tate and Colter Stone both had massive PR runs with a 5:13 for Tate and a 5:17 for for Colter Stone! Their previous bests on the season were 5:20 for Tate and 5:39 for Stone!
Finally we had the 4x400 where a very tired group placed a respectable 5th with a time of 3:46. This is not a PR but a good race where Nathaniel Marlow led the 4x400 squad with a 54.6 split in his 400.
Overall it was a great day full of Prs for the boys Track and Field program!
Our next meet is this Thursday May 2nd at home! This is a boys and girls meet!
