The 5th grade solar system projects turned in so far are out of this world! If your 5th grader is not done yet, you might have to work at light speed to assure it doesn't get lost in the Milky Way before tomorrow.

A note from Grade School Boosters

Today the Bluford Varsity Boys Bowling Team placed 3rd in their Regional at SI Bowl in Carterville. The team included Sage Smith, Brett Snow, Ryan Pierce, Blake Middleton, Cruz Case, and Hudson Burke. Izabel Andrews also placed first overall in the girls division and will advance as well. Rylan Pierce placed 7th overall individually. Both teams are coached by Josh Andrews. They will advance to State next Saturday at St. Clair Bowl.

Second Grade is learning about the Economy! They have learned how producers and consumers contribute to the Economy. Today they got to show what they’ve learned by being "producers" through a lemonade and snack stand! They will get to be “consumers” with the money they raised! They had so much fun! 💛🍋

Attention parents of grade 9, 10 & 11 students: Students were given a permission slip regarding the preACT and ACT Testing on April 8. This permission slip must be signed and returned by 3/20 in order for students to be able to leave after tests are complete.
** JH Track is canceled today. The varsity team roster will be posted tomorrow. Mandatory practices will start on Monday, March 16th 3:30pm-5:00pm **

Grade School Boosters will be hosting a Family Fun Night on March 20th. There will be a taco bar catered by El Rancherito that evening as well for $10 per person. Flyers were previously sent home with students regarding the event. The event includes dodgeball, raffle baskets, silent auction, Hog Raffle, 50/50, cake walk, face painting, and more!

There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 11 from 12-5pm at the Bluford Ruritan Building. All successful donations will receive a $15 e-gift card.
