Short-handed Lady Trojans fall at Johnston City 68-33, are now 12-10.
A very short handed lady trojans squad tried their best at 2A 19-7 Johnston City last night, keeping it within striking distance in the first quarter 16-21 and 2nd quarter 25-39, but eventually ran out of steam from a relentless attack from JC.
Edyn Knight led the way with 18 Points and 10 rebounds for her 6th double-double on the season. Kadi Bain was next with 7 points, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and 4 rebounds. Maia Schultz rounded out the top 3 with 6 points of her own along with 3 rebounds. Lydia Hulbert had 2 points and 4 rebounds.
Chloe King left the game in the second half sick and did not return. The Lady Trojans were also missing 3 others as well in the contest.

Webber HS Students attended Brain Games at RLC on Thursday and earned 4th place! Team members were Julia Bruce, Levi Ganieany, Audrey Frey and Briley Heinrich. The theme this year was "Olympics" and students tested their skills in all different areas including art, engineering, math, trivia, and more. It was a great day!

** HS Lady Trojans and Trojans Schedule Update **
Due to sickness and lack of available players, Cobden has canceled the girls game scheduled for tomorrow.
The HS Boys game at Cobden is still ON for tomorrow but now has a JV start time of 3pm, with Varsity to follow!

Saturday's Basketball Contest at Cobden has been canceled. Please keep their community in your thoughts as they suffered the loss of a student.

On Wednesday, it was 7th and 8th grade's turn to attend Brain Games. They had fun and worked hard to complete a number of challenges, including their engineering design challenge where they had to design a pentathlon.

This week, 5th graders finished our reading module on “Word Play.” During this module, we read The Phantom Tollbooth. The book is all about playing with words and their meanings. What better way to end the module than by comparing and contrasting the book with the movie! Students enjoyed some wonderful snacks while watching, including “Barrels of Fun” and “Play with Word Cookies.” They are so excited to start our next module!
