This is what it looks like the prep 1,250 meals! Great work ladies!

To all who are receiving meal deliveries: Given the current "shelter in place" proclamation from the Governor, the district is shifting to delivering meals twice a week. Monday will include food for Mon/Tues. Wednesday will include food for Wed/Thur/Fri. We are now serving over 200 kids and happy to do so!

No PJs for me today, but Elephant and Piggie from Ms. Flexter’s 1st grade classroom are keeping me company! What does your Lazy Day look like?

Part of today's governor's address included announcing that the school closure is extended until at least April 7. We will continue with food delivery for the duration of the closure. As we move through next week, we will further develop plans to help with the continuity of learning and will share more information. We miss our kids. Stay healthy.

Even though we are out of school, we can still connect and join one another in having a little fun! Each day, we will post a picture on our Facebook page--just add your photo to our post to join the fun. I can't wait to see what you're up to!

Lonely. Schools aren't supposed to be this empty on a Tuesday in March. We miss our kiddos! #ILschoolstories

The first day of non attendance for our students and our fabulous cooks were busy preparing lunches this morning. Meals are now out for delivery by our fine crew of bus drivers and volunteers.

We are taking orders to begin food delivery tomorrow! As of now, we have orders for 168 meals a day. Breakfast for tomorrow is being sent with kids today. Beginning tomorrow, we will deliver lunch for that day and breakfast for the next!
