** Trojans Basketball Schedule Update **
Tonight's game vs. Patoka-Odin has been postponed to Friday night!

Lady Trojans fall to Woodlawn 46-49 in the Regional Semifinal at Edwards County last night.
Your Lady Trojans ended their season last night after a very hard fought battle against a very good Woodlawn team. The end the season with a 14-13 record.
The Lady Trojans fought all 4 quarters, leading 24-19 at the half and went into the 4th down 33-35. Free throws become the deciding factor of this game, with Woodlawn going 15-20 from the line and your lady Trojans only shooting 4 free throws all night.
The Lady Trojans played great on both sides of the ball all night, keeping pace with woodlawn quarter after quarter. They were led by Junior Chloe King with 18 points, and Freshman Edyn Knight followed with 14 points. Knight packed the stat lines with 14 points, 16 rebounds, 6 blocks and 2 steals, recording her 3rd 10,10,5 game of the year. Senior Laney Hails led the team in steals with 3 in an overall even defensive effort from the entire squad. Lydia Hulbert, Kadi Bain, and Payton Knight all played excellent on both sides of the ball, recording 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 steals between the 3 of them. Late in the game, Allie Smith came in and did her job and hit a key 3 to keep the Lady Trojans within striking distance. Her clutch shooting ability is something she has become known for throughout the season.
Overall, it was an amazing season for your Lady Trojans, which included a 3rd place finish in both the conference and the conference tournament, a 14-13 winning record, the first in I believe 7 years, and defeating the #1 seed in the south Gallatin County by 25 on senior night. That all culminated in a 6 seed in our sub sectional and a 3 seed in the regional, and the ended the season the most honorable way you can, fighting till the end and giving it all you've got losing 46-49 to a very talented Woodlawn team.
Great season girls, we are all so proud of you.

Reminder to RLC Students: RLC has no classes today for a scheduled staff inservice.
