On Saturday, March 5th the Webber-Wayne City Mens Track and Field team competed at the 32nd Annual SIUC Indoor High School Meet. This meet includes teams from all three classes of Illinois Track and Field, and presented some extreme competition. To say they stepped up to the moment would be an understatement, as the boys finished with 3 top ten finishes. Results are below: Seth Hamerski: 800- 4th out of 58 Chase Smith: 800- 20th out of 58 Jeremiah Cramer: 800- 46th out of 58 Aidan Reed: 400- 9th out of 58 Josh Lewis: 1600- 42 out of 51 Jaxon Dalby: 1600- 28th out of 51 4x400 Meter Relay made up of Seth Hamerski(55.29), Aidan Reed(57.57), Chase Smith(59.33), Jeremiah Cramer(100.39) Placed 7th out of 19 teams.

The HS Envi. Sci. class has a unique opportunity to conduct research at USM in Ocean Springs, Miss. They will conduct watershed sampling in Illinois comparing that with water samples taken in the gulf/bay areas. They will travel to conduct the research in March.
