Reminder: We dismiss at 2:10 on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Parent/teacher conferences are Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 - 7:00 and there is no school on Friday.

In the inaugural season, the boys bowling team is headed to state! Additionally, Brianna Shoenrock qualified as an individual!

Seventh and eighth grade students participated in Brain Games put on by ROE #13.




Bob Kane and Keith Hertenstein, with the Mt. Vernon Elks, presented Jacob with his Americanism Essay certificate. He placed third at the local and district level with his essay about, “What does it mean to love your country?”. Congratulations, Jacob!

Seventh grade had so much fun today dissecting Earthworms! This is something they have looked forward to all year!!

On Saturday, March 5th the Webber-Wayne City Mens Track and Field team competed at the 32nd Annual SIUC Indoor High School Meet. This meet includes teams from all three classes of Illinois Track and Field, and presented some extreme competition. To say they stepped up to the moment would be an understatement, as the boys finished with 3 top ten finishes. Results are below:
Seth Hamerski: 800- 4th out of 58
Chase Smith: 800- 20th out of 58
Jeremiah Cramer: 800- 46th out of 58
Aidan Reed: 400- 9th out of 58
Josh Lewis: 1600- 42 out of 51
Jaxon Dalby: 1600- 28th out of 51
4x400 Meter Relay made up of Seth Hamerski(55.29), Aidan Reed(57.57), Chase Smith(59.33), Jeremiah Cramer(100.39) Placed 7th out of 19 teams.


4th grade boys PW action against OBR. Bluford got the win.





3rd grade PW boys played a hard fought game, but lost to OBR in OT.





Volleyball fans.... just a reminder our 8th Grade Night is Tues. March 8. Those games will be played in the HS Gym as there is a project next week in the JH Gym. See you all there Bluford Nation.

This is what has been missing the last two years! It was a great feeling to have parents in the building to watch their kids perform. Fantastic program kindergarten!
