Grade School Retirees

Again, congratulations to Tracie Steward, Terri Helm, Ramona Eyre, Sandy Wilson, Bobby Herzing, Karen Haile, and Cindy Birkner on their retirements. Best wishes to Melissa Beckley-Corbett, Leslie Prior, Jacqueline Withrow, Christina Freeman, Misty Boyd, and Landon Willett as they are starting a new chapter elsewhere. Thank you for your dedication and service.

What a team, what a ride, and none of it would have been possible without this amazing group of seniors that have helped build the culture of this program. These boys have fed into the idea that the Webber Trojans are winners, and that Trojans win because they work hard. Trenton Greenwood, Jeremiah Cramer, and Seth Hamerski have shown through actions what it means to be a winner, ending their careers at the Boys State Championship Track and Field meet. This team is a family, and you three will always be a part of it. Congrats on having careers most can only dream of. #Trojans4Life

What a season for these Trojans, and it’s not over yet. Two of your very own Webber Trojans will be competing in finals on Saturday after making it out of prelims today up in Charleston, IL. Weston Hails places 10th in the Long Jump with a jump of 20’10”, while Seth Hamerski places 9th in the 800 with a time of 1:58.33. Both athletes had personal records to qualify! Congrats boys!

Let this sink in...these boys train in a parking lot and literally run the streets...Today they ran in Charleston on the big blue track..no matter what...they are there above schools with finer facilities..we have a dedicated coach and boys that follow, learn and preform together at their best.
Proud of you Webber..Thanks for letting me take pictures at your meets...all your sporting events...what a day to retire..keep up the hard work.
Check the school website in the photo gallery for the rest of the shots.
Mrs. Birkner

Seth Hamerski 3rd in heat..800M

after round 1 currently 4th with a jump of 20.8...

Hello Summer! Good luck to those Webber High School track members who will be competing at state today. Yesterday, grade school students should have received a 2022-2023 school calendar and supply list. Grade school yearbooks will be delivered to the school some time this summer. Once the yearbooks are received and ready for distribution, parents will be notified. ALL report cards will be mailed out on Tuesday, if not before. Have an amazing summer. See you in August.

First grade was busy learning right down to the end. Here they were engaged with a team building activity to learn about an assembly line.

Nurse Mary has had a countdown contest for the last few weeks. Today guessing the letter was pretty easy! Of course there has been a prize involved everyday.

The district has six teaching openings for next school year. Please see the attachment for more information.

High School Boys Track...State Bound!!! Good Luck boys...leave it all on the track!

One more added to the "Best Wishes" section on the bulletin board. Best wishes to Mrs. J. Withrow as she starts a new chapter elsewhere. You will be missed!

Congratulations to our May students of the month!

Here are some more shots from the Run for the Wall!

This was an awesome experience! Around 400 motorcycles, part of the Run for the Wall, stopped in MTV for lunch. Around 20 students from WHS & BGS helped serve them lunch. After that 150 kids from BGS cheered as they passed on their way to D.C.

It was awesome to celebrate these fine young student athletes as they are set to compete in the state track meet on Thursday. Best of luck to the boys and Coach Pierce!

The kids had a blast with the school wide kickball tournament yesterday! Congrats to the seventh grade on winning the tournament championship.

Boy did these kids have some fun today!
