Sports fans we have our first changes since the school year started (more to come as there always is). HS BB- No game at Woodlawn Sept. 1, that game will be played Sept.28 AT WEBBER. There is a game at ODIN Sept. 16 now.
HS CC- meet Sat. Sept 24 is not at Benton, nooo, its at Freeburg now. There is no meet Sept. 29 at Benton, no sir, that meet is now Sat. Oct. 1 at Wesclin. Dr. Gordon, when school first starts motto is "here we go". Boy does that apply to the sports world. Gosh I love my job! Never a dull moment. Stay tuned Webber/Bluford-Farrington Nation.......

Webber/Bluford Nation, there will be a Parents/Coaches Meeting in our HS Gym Monday, Aug. 22 6:00 p.m. All parents of JH or HS athletes are highly encouraged to attend our meeting. It will be informative and supportive in nature. Please contact me at school for more information.
The concrete work at the greenhouse is complete! The next step is to seed and wait for the rest of the greenhouse to be delivered.
Lots of new things happening this year to be excited about sports fans.
I have received word we will be hosting the HS Volleyball Sectional Tournament Oct. 31, and Nov. 2. I hope we are playing in it! We are the host for the Boys HS Basketball Regional starting Feb. 18 and We will be hosting the Boys HS Track sectional May 17-19. When the time comes I will putting our hat in the ring to host JH Baseball and softball regionals as well.
We hope to have many theme nights at our sporting Events, including Blue out nights, give aways etc. We hope to see as many fans in our stands as possible this year. I can hear our student section already! Buckle up for a great year.
Crossroads Hospital will be providing FREE sport physicals for Bluford athletes on August 24th from 12:30-2:30 in Nurse's Mary Office. Students interested should pick up the sports physical forms from Nurse Mary prior to August 24th. If you have any questions, please reach out to Nurse Mary.
Attention Cross Country Parents! There will NOT be cross country practice for grades 4-12 tomorrow. The next practices will Monday after school from 3:30 to 4:15 for grades 4-8 and 3:30 to 5:00 for grades 9-12! Thank you
