Dental Safari will be at the school on September 28th,2026. If anyone still needs the dental requirement,this will fill that requirement. Please use the link to fill out the form or fill out the form that will be sent home by September 23.

Information regarding Class Rings (Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors) and Caps and Gowns (Seniors only) is being sent home with students this week. There will be a student and parent meeting for any students in 5th-8th grade interested in Robotics Club on Friday, September 11 at 5:00 in the grade school cafeteria.

Several after school programs begin tomorrow!

After school tutoring: Pickup is at 3:00 PM.

Kids Quest & Good News Club: First meetings are tomorrow. (Note: These programs are not school-sponsored.)

The Village will be oil/chipping streets highlighted below on Wednesday, Sept 2nd. It is supposed to be finished by end of day - but weather depending, it could impact afternoon routes in town. Please be patient with us on Wednesday due to road maintenance.

MC TWILIGHT INVITE HIGHLIGHTS

14 teams. 230 runners. 3 Trojans standing tall and proud.

The Trojans showed up ready to compete at the MC Twilight Invite, with all three runners turning in phenomenal performances and setting new season bests!

Junior Lydia led the way for the girls with an impressive 25:01, while foreign exchange student Agustine Fernandez continued his strong start to the season with a 23:16. Rounding out the night, Carson Korte made his debut on the big stage and delivered an outstanding 17:31 performance.

Three runners. Three season bests. One great night for Trojan Cross Country.

TRANSPORTATION INFO: Starting Monday, August 31st bus transportation will be back at 5 routes. Bus drivers will be letting their students know pickup time for Monday. Please bear with us as we navigate the change. If you have any questions please contact the office at 618-732-8242.

Bluford Unit School District 318 Board of Education will hold a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 5:00PM in the District Office for purposes to consider evidence or testimony presented to a school board regarding denial of admission to school events or property pursuant to Section 24-24 of the School Code 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(4.5).

Webber Beta is excited to host the first blood drive of the year on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from noon to 5pm at the Bluford Ruritan Building. All donations help our seniors earn scholarships. Please consider donating to a good cause!

Lockdown Drill Notice 26-27

Jr. High Cheerleading tryouts will be Sept 9 & 10 after school from 3:30-5:00 for those in 5th-8th grade. Participants must have a sports physical on file.

Webber Trojans started the golf season with their first match against Mt Vernon this evening. Top scorers for Webber were Sage Smith, Jacob Marlow, Embry Raney and Shyloh Hails. (Not pictured: Jack Strohschein)
