Walking with Lincoln ... Mr. Kenniker, the 8th Grade Class, and I visited The Appellate Courthouse in Mt. Vernon where, in 1859, President Lincoln successfully argued a case for the Illinois Central Railroad.

Solar systems to scale in junior high this week.

Fifth grade students worked in teams and used paper towels to make a model to represent the amount of Astronomical Units (A.U.) each planet is from the Sun.




Parents: We received our first quarterly rewards payment from Kroger. We received approval for the program on February 12. The earnings quarter ended on February 26. In that short two week period, we had 37 households sign up and received $22.70. We are looking forward to participating in the program! Thank you to everyone who has signed up.
