Employment Opportunities

Congratulations to Donna Wilkey and Hannah Pierce for being April Employees of the Month! Nominations from their colleagues included:
Mrs. Pierce: "Hannah always goes above and beyond in her job. She is always working with the kids to interact with peers and adults in the hallways and has helped her students make huge improvements. She can have a stressful job but ALWAYS has a smile on her face. You can tell she really loves her students.:
Mrs. Wilkey: "Since joining the high school last year, Donna has been a light on our end. She truly keeps this end running. She holds kids accountable to the handbook, she is always ready and willing to help in any way she can, and she does a fantastic job with the volleyball team. I love that she is always in the halls greeting our students and making sure they are living up to our standards, while also bonding with and caring for the kids. Donna is very deserving of this award and the spotlight for everything she does should be shone on her!"

Our 3rd grade made some super cool donuts for our April bulletin board.

*Continued* Second grade studied chicken life cycles last week. They incubated eggs and made life cycle mobiles. They even adopted, cared for, and made a baby book for their very own "chicks." To finish off the week students created coops for their adopted chicks.
