The Bluford Board of Education held its Regular November Board Meeting on November 17th at 6pm. Below are highlights/actions from the meeting:
Approved the Consent Agenda.
Superintendent's report included positive highlights on the IL School Report Card.
Approved updates to the District's Risk Management Plan.
Approved 2025 Tentative Tax Levies for the Grade School, High School, and Unit. Fund balances were disclosed at the meeting and the tentative levies are on display on the website.
Approved first reading of Board Policy updates, from October 2025 Press Plus Update 120, as presented.
Approved the FY2026 School Maintenance Project Grant
Renewed the Athletic Co-op Agreement with Farrington Grade School
Following Executive Session, the Board approved the following:
The Board hired Miroslava Zaborska as HS Science Teacher and approved the following Volunteer Coaches: Edwin (Hank) Holtgrewe (4th Grade PeeWee Boys)
