The Bluford Board of Education held its regular October Board meeting on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The following items were discussed and action taken:
1. Approval of the Consent Agenda, including Minutes for the September 21, 2023 Regular Board of Education Meeting; Minutes for the September 21, 2023 Budget Hearing; Executive Session Minutes from September 21, 2023 to remain confidential; Bills for October 2023; Financial Reports for September 2023; Suspensions Imposed by Building Administrators for September 2023
2. Superintendent, Principals and Maintenance Reports included information about student highlights, building projects completed, 1st Quarter Financials, 1st Tax Installment, School Maintenance Grant, Tax Levy Workshops, Facility Usage Inquire, Bus Drivers in Trainings, and the Farrington Co-op.
3. The Board approved the FMLA request for Mrs. Emily Schumm.
8. The Board entered into Executive Session;
9. Following executive session the Board approved the following items:
- Accepted the letter of resignation from Ms. Durenda Galloway as full time bus driver, effective October 20, 2023.
- Approved Winter 2023/Spring 2024 Coaches, as presented.

- Lukas Wilson - Volunteer Assistant Coach for HS Boys Basketball
