Alie Northup was Webber High School Student of the Month for March. Alie is a sophomore and is active in FFA and Drama Club.


Ag. Metals took on a project this afternoon! The district needed an old piece of baseball equipment cut up and they were up for the task with the torch!

Graduation is just under a month away! Here are some key dates for our 8th and 12th graders.
Friday 5/13: Graduation practice -
8th 9:00 am
12th 10:00 am with Senior meal to follow- Last day of attendance if
exempt from finals.
Monday 5/16: Senior Finals
Thursday 5/19: 8th last day of attendance
Friday 5/20: 8th grade trip

Bluford FFA is set up for their annual banquet and welcoming their guests.





They were able to make great progress on the softball field today. Hopefully, they will be able to finish by the end of the week. Then we need some dry weather to complete the transition to the grass. We are getting closer to playing ball!





Webber High School will be hosting a freshman orientation on Monday, April 18 at 5 pm in the high school gym. Students and parents are invited to attend an informational meeting and tour of the facility. For questions call 732-6121.

Nathan Groff is a senior at WHS. He attended the Jeff. Co. Chamber banquet last night with the CEO program. It was announced last night that the Education Council of the Chamber awarded 8 teacher grants across the county and 32 student scholarships to graduating seniors.

We have another new addition going in this week. We are installing a projection system in the gym.




Congratulations to Seth Hamerski and Aiden Reed for participating in the indoor state track meet. Seth placed 6th in the 800 and Aiden placed 17th in the 400.



We will be hosting a meeting to talk about dual credit classes offered through Rend Lake College on Wednesday, March 30 at 5 pm. Any 10th grade students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend to learn about the dual credit program.


This Saturday is the monthoy Ruritan Club breakfast!
