Today, Miss Petersen's 4th-grade students spent time learning about the tragic events of September 11, 2001. After discussing the history and impact of that day, the students worked on a special 9/11 coloring page as a way to honor and remember those affected.
Understanding events like 9/11 helps us reflect on bravery, resilience, and unity that emerged in the face of tragedy. It's essential for students to learn about these moments in history, as they remind us of the importance of compassion, community, and standing strong together.
We are so proud of our students for their thoughtful engagement and for taking this time to honor such a significant part of our nations history. 🇺🇸🕊️❤️
