Principal
My name is Amanda Strohschein, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Bluford Grade School.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2004 and went on to complete my Master of Science in School Administration from Eastern Illinois University in 2009. Over the past 20 years, I have been honored to work at Bluford Grade School, where I’ve taught first, second, and third grade.
It has been a true privilege to be part of the Bluford community for such a meaningful span of my career. I am excited to continue serving our students, families, and staff in the role of principal. I firmly believe in fostering a positive, enthusiastic school culture—one where every student and visitor feels welcomed, valued, and inspired to learn.
At Bluford Grade School, we are committed to supporting every student as they pursue their personal, academic, and future goals. Each of us plays a vital role in helping our children grow and succeed, and I look forward to working alongside you to provide learning experiences that are both meaningful and engaging.
