During the month of January, third graders organized a school wide campaign to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. After learning about working for the common good and practicing good citizenship, we set out to get as much money as possible to donate to this wonderful organization. All classes brought money, and after three week, the top three classes earned the privilege to throw a pie in a teacher's face. WSIL came and covered the final festivities and featured us on their Class Act on February 2nd. We raised $1,100 for St. Jude. WAY TO GO BGS!!!
