To conclude our Teddy Bear unit, we read the story Teddy Bear Picnic, watched the movie Teddy Bear Picnic and brought in picnic foods.  We set up our bears around the picnic basket and went off to Music

 

When we came back from Music our bears and the picnic were gone!!  They left a note  saying they had gone to the nurse.  We went to the nurse only to find we had missed them. They had gone to the library.  We searched the library and found out they had left there, too. They had gone to the cafeteria.  Off we went to find the cooks.  They read a note saying they had gone to the office .  The secretary read us a note that said they had gone on a picnic and if we were good, we could go along too.  We found our bears having a picnic. They invited us to share in their fun.  We all enjoyed teddy grahams, cheese crackers and gummis.

 

 

The Teddy Bear Picnic was great!!!!  We got to take our bears to recess with us....
