We made an edible fire truck for our snack during fire safety week.  We used a graham cracker for the truck and iced it with red icing.  We used pretzel sticks for a ladder, mini oreos for wheels, chex cereal for a window,  and licorice for a fire hose.  Look below at how much fun we had making our snack.

We read many books about fire safety.  We learned to dial 9-1-1 in case of a fire, how to develop an escape plan and how to stay low and go. We had fire safety center activities.
