Classroom Rules/Discipline

Behavior Expectations
I have 2 rules in my classroom:
1. Make good behavior choices.
2. Be prepared for class with assignments, supplies, and a good attitude!
All students need to understand that they have a choice. For example, if they choose to fight, then they are also choosing detention.




Behavior Management
First occurrence: lose 10 minutes of recess
Second occurrence: lose all of recess and other privilege (computer time, work w/ partner, etc)
Third occurrence: lose 3 full recesses and go to the office.

(Severe and habitual misconduct may warrant a detention or in-school suspension.)

Misconduct will be recorded in the agenda book daily.

Students will be rewarded in a variety of ways for correct behavior.
