If a student is unable to finish assignments during class or study hall then they will need to take their work home to complete. Each assignment is due the next school morning. If I assign a difficult or long assignment the students will be given a specific due date. I make an effort to have the weekly homework schedule posted on my web site. Students will also be writing their assignments in an agenda book.
    When a student fails to turn in their assignment on time, it will be counted late and 15 percentage points will be deducted from the assignment grade. For 2 days late, an additional 15 % will be deducted for a total of 30 percentage points. If the assignment is more than 2 days late it will be marked in the grade book as 0% E. Students will also lose recess time for late assignments and may have to stay in until the assignment is completed. In the case of multiple late assignments, detention will be assigned.
