Every week we will have a featured star of the show.  This person will be the helper for the entire week.  They will also get to bring some pictures for our star of the show board.  The star of the show also brings items from home to share with the class and tell us how these items relate to their own lives. 
We make a poster for each featured star where we share positive comments about the star. 

Number 1 was our Star of the Show for the week of August 23rd.  She has an older sister and a younger brother.  Her favorite food is pizza and her favorite thing to do is play softball.  She has a cat and a puppy.  

Number 3 was our Star of the Show for the week of September 7th.  She has an older brother and sister.  She has two dogs.  Her favorite foods are apples and pizza and she likes basketball.

Number 4 was our Star of the Show for the week of September 13th.  He has a horse that he enjoys riding.  He has an older sister and a little brother.  His favorite foods are steak and hamburgers.  He says his hero is God!

Number 5 was our Star of the Show for the week of September 20th.  She has one younger sister.  She has two cats and seven chiwawas.  Her favorite food is cheese sticks.

Number 6 was our Star of the Show for the week of September 27th.  He has no brothers or sisters.  His favorite food ice-cream and he likes to play his DS in your spare time.  He does not like meat!  He has a cat and a dog.
 

Number 7 was our Star of the Show for the week of October 4th.  Her favorite subject is Math.  She enjoys tumbling and walking on stilts.  She has an older sister and a younger brother.  Also, she has a dog and a large cat!

Number 8 was our Star of the Show for the week of October 12th.  Her favorite food is grilled cheese and she enjoys reading and playing in her spare time.  She has one brother, one sister, and one on the way.  She also has a dog, turtle, two cats, and two frogs.  She would like to be a vet when she grows up.

Number 9 was our Star of the Show for the week of October 18th.  He has three sisters, two brothers, and four dogs.  His favorite subject is Math and he likes pizza.  In his spare time he enjoys reading and playing with his brother.  He would like to be a scientist when he grows up.

Number 10 was our Star of the Show for the week of November 1st.  Her favorite food is fried chicken and her favorite subject is Math.  She has three brothers, four dogs, and three cats.  She would like to be a vet when she grows up.

Number 11 was our Star of the Show for the week of November 15th.  He has one sister, four dogs, two fish, and a rat.  His favorite subject is Social Studies and his favorite book is The Ugly Truth.

Number 12 was our Star of the Show for the week of November 29th.  He likes Science and his favorite food is pizza.  His favorite movie is Iron Man II.  When he grows up he wants to be a race car driver or a construction worker.

Number 13 was our Star of the Show for the week of December 6th.  He has one brother, two cats, and one dog.  His favorite thing to do is spend time in his room.  His favorite color is blue and he loves the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books  He is not sure what he wants to be when he grows up.

Number 14 was our Star of the Show for the week of December 13th.  He has one brother and he shares his grandma's cat.  His favorite foods are chicken and cheeseburgers.  He likes AR time at school.  When he grows up he would like to be a writer or a guitar player.
