Our Home In Space

Our very first theme of the year is space.  We had a great time our first few weeks.
  Check out all of our work!

We wrote an acrostic poem using our names.  Then we made ourselves into astronauts.
 

 

 

 

 

 

  
   

 

During our second week, we learned about the moon.  We enjoyed filling our tummies with the phases of the moon.
 



 

 

Each student researched a planet in our solar system 
They collected facts to make a poster about their item.

If I Had a Robot.......
We wrote about what we would do if we had a robot. 
After completing our writing, we designed our very own robot at home. 
This project went along with our math lessons about geometric solids.
We worked with a partner to find out how many faces, edges, and vertices there were our robots.
