masks using various shapes. Our goal was to make both sides symmetrical. We loved this activity. |

We also ended our unit by making the shelters the Native Americans lived in and then we got to eat them!

After reading the book The Legend of the Bluebonnet, by Tomie
dePaola,
we created our own thankful shields. We wrote about people we
are thankful for, placed our writing on one side of our shield and
then placed pictures on the other side. |
