Board of Education Meeting

October 19, 2010

            Board President Don Sneed called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Upon roll call the following members were present:  John Maurer, Jim Wray, Larry Manning, Brad Austin, and Carol Rudofski.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present.

Motion:         Maurer-“to approve the September 21, 2010 minutes.”

Second:         Manning

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:         MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Rudofski-“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second:         Manning

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Thank you letters were read from the Marlow family, and a request to hold a fundraiser for cheerleading uniforms.

Motion:         Austin-“to approve October bills and payroll.”

Second:         Wray

Action:           Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Maurer, Wray, Manning, Austin, Rudofski, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Austin-“to approve ISBE School Report Card.”

Second:         Rudofski

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Rudofski-“approve second Reading of Policy Changes (2.160, 4.140, 5.280, 5.330, 6.130, 7.90, 7.325, 8.80, 8.50)”

Second:         Manning
