Board of Education Meeting

October15, 2007

7:00 p.m.

          Board President Don Sneed called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Upon roll call the following members were present:  Jim Wray, Larry Manning, Brad Austin, and Carol Rudofski.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present.  Visitors were Dixie Rector and Ashley Snow.

Motion:      Rudofski-“to approve September 17, 2007 minutes.”

Second:      Austin

Action:        Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:      Austin-“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second:      Manning

Action:        Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:      Rudofski-“to approve October bills and payroll.”

Second:      Wray

Action:        Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Wray, Manning, Austin, Rudofski, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Visitors were welcomed; cards of thanks were read from the Marlow Church and Kristen Farley.

Motion:      Rudofski-“to approve ISBE School Report Card.”

Second:      Austin

Action:        Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:      Rudofski-“to consider purchasing two outdoor video cameras.”

Action:        Manning

Motion:      Manning-“to approve the Final Reading of Policy Changes.”

Second:      Wray

Motion:      Rudofski-“to go to executive at 7:30 to discuss personnel.”

Second;      Manning

Action:        Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:      Wray-“to come out of executive at 7:45 p.m. no action taken.”
