      Board President Don Sneed called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Board members present were John Maurer, Jim Wray, Larry Manning, Carol Rudofski, Brad Austin, and Travis Cameron.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present.   No visitors were in attendance.  
 

Motion: Rudofski-“to approve minutes of April 20, 2009.”

Second: Austin

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Manning –“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second: Wray

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Rudofski-“to approve May bills and payroll with changes on Sun Trust to show expense to be bus lease.”

Second: Maurer

Action: Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Maurer, Wray, Manning, Rudofski, Austin, Cameron and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED. 
 

Motion: Manning-“to accept letter of resignation from Wendy Penn.”

Second: Austin

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Manning-“to accept the first reading of Board Policy updates.”

Second: Cameron

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Rudofski-“to approve the Special Educator Work Loan Plan.”

Second: Maurer

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Austin-“to approve Karen Lane as summer school teacher.”

Second: Rudofski
