Board of Education Meeting

March 14, 2011

Board President Don Sneed called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.   Upon roll call the following members were present: John Maurer, Jim Wray, Larry Manning, Travis Cameron, Brad Austin, and Carol Rudofski.  Visitors were Mario Hodge.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present. 

Motion:         Maurer-“to approve minutes of February 22, 2011 meeting.”

Second:         Wray

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Austin-“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second:         Rudofski

Action:           Voice Vote:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Rudofski-“to approve March bills and payroll.”

Second:         Cameron

Action:           Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Maurer, Wray, Manning, Cameron, Austin, Rudofski, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Austin-“to approve use of the school by Hickory Hill Church.”

Second:         Maurer

Action:           Voice Vote:  Yeas:  Maurer, Wray, Manning, Cameron, Austin and Sneed. Nay:  Rudofski.  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Manning-“to approve the amended 2010-11 school calendar.”

Second:         Wray

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Rudofski-“to approve list of authorized bank depositories.”

Second:         Maurer

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Manning-“to approve first reading of policy changes.”

Second:         Wray
