7:00 p.m.

          Board President Don Sneed called the regular Board of Education Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Upon roll call the following members were present:  Terry Krutsinger, Brad Austin, Carol Rudofski, John Maurer, and Jim Wray.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present.  Visitors were Nique Scarbrough.

Motion:     Maurer-“to approve February 20, 2007 minutes.”

Second:    Wray

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Rudofski-“approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second:    Austin

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Austin-“to approve March bills and payroll.”

Second:    Krutsinger

Action:      Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Krutsinger, Austin, Rudofski, Maurer, Wray, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Austin-“to approve summer school dates of June 11-July 16.”

Second:    Rudofski

Action:      Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Krutsinger, Austin, Rudofski, Maurer, Wray, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Rudofski-“to approve 2005-06 School Report Card.”

Second:    Austin

Motion:     Austin ”to employ Kent Strothmann as athletic director.”

Motion:     Maurer-“to go to executive to discuss personnel.”

Second:    Austin

Motion:     Rudofski-“to come out of executive at 8:22 p.m.”

Second:    Maurer

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Rudofski-“to honorably dismiss Robin Pytlinski due to the change of the Early Childhood program.”

Second:    Maurer

Action:      Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Krutsinger, Austin, Rudofski, Maurer, Wray, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Rudofski-“to honorably dismiss part-time special education aides Linda Breeze and Donna Shelton due to the reduction in force of the early childhood program.”

Second:    Maurer

Action:      Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Krutsinger, Rudofski, Maurer, Wray, and Sneed.  Abstain: Austin MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Rudofski-“to re-employ all remaining K-8 teaching staff (special education, Title 1, Music, P.E.)

Motion:     Rudofski-“to re-employ all full time special education aides.”
