BLUFORD GRADE SCHOOL

BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING

January 18, 2011   

            Board President called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Upon roll call the following members were present:  Jim Wray, Larry Manning, Travis Cameron, Brad Austin, and Carol Rudofski.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present. 

Motion:         Austin-“to approve the December 10, 2010 minutes.”

Second:         Rudofski

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Austin-“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second:         Wray

Action:           Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:         Rudofski-“approve January bills and payroll.”

Second:         Cameron

Action:           Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Cameron, Austin, Rudofski, Wray, Manning, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Thank you notes were read from Bluford Booster Club and the family of Linda Breeze.  IASB dinner in Fairfield will be held in March.

Motion:         Manning-“to set superintendent’s salary at $76000.00, $175.00 travel, $335.00 for insurance for five years.”

Second:         Austin

Action:           Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Cameron, Austin, Rudofski, Wray, Manning, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.
