Board of Education Meeting

January 20, 2009 7:00 p.m.

          Board Secretary Brad Austin called the regular Board of Education Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Upon roll call the following board members were present:  John Wray, Larry Manning, and Travis Cameron.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present.  There were no visitors. 

Motion:     Manning-“to approve December 15, 2009 minutes.”

Second:    Wray

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Cameron-“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second:    Manning

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Manning-“to approve January bills and payroll.”

Second:    Wray

Action:      Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Wray, Manning, Cameron and Austin.  MOTION CARRIED.

Letter of communications were read. Economic Interest statements were handed out to Board members.  Proposed school calendar for the 2009-2010 year was discussed.  Superintendent contract was tabled till February when a full board would be present.

Motion:     Cameron-“to adjourn at 7:35 p.m.”
