On the first day of Kindergarten, Ms. Gieselman read us the book "The Kissing Hand." Chester Raccoon was a character in our book. He is such a sneaky raccoon. He came into our classroom without us knowing and left us a note in the book. He told us to look for him inside the school. We visited the nurse, the principal, the cafeteria cooks, and the librarian looking for Chester. Each place we stopped he had left a heart inside someone's hand and a note telling us where to look for him next. When we left the library, we found his footprints leading to our classroom. When we returned to our classroom we found a big surprise! Chester had left us handprint cookies with a heart in the middle so we could remember that our parents are missing and loving us while we are away at school. Take a look at our pictures!
