Spooky Halloween & Fall Fun

In October, we have been learning about leaves, scarecrows, spiders, bats, skeletons, and pumpkins. We read books about leaves, collected leaves at home and brought them in, and made glittery, painted leaf art. We made a leaf book telling how many cubes tall our leaves were, how many pennies would fit on our leaf, how many pennies it took to sink our leaf in water, and how many seconds it took for our leaf to touch the ground after we dropped it.  We have also been making some fun Halloween Art! We made spider webs. Look below at some of our projects. We made a book about bats and sponge painted bats with our pictures on them. We also took a scarecrow pattern home and decorated it with our parents. We are so creative! Click on the picture to make it bigger!

We had a lot of fun at our fall party! We had a cake walk, played Halloween bingo, played the bozo buckets, stuck our hands in "witch brains and fingers" to find prizes, decorated sugar cookies, and ate snacks and candy. Thanks to Kylin's mom for planning the fall party and thank you to all the parent helpers for making our party a success! Take a look below at the fun we had!
