Board of Education Meeting

December 15, 2009  
 

      Board President Don Sneed called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at the Rend Lake Marketplace at 7:00 p.m.  Upon roll call the following members were John Maurer, Jim Wray, Travis Cameron, Brad Austin, Larry Manning, and Carol Rudofski.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present.  Visitors were Teresa Cameron.  
 

Motion: Maurer-“to approve minutes of November 16, 2009.”

Second: Wray

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Cameron-“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second: Rudofski

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Austin-“to approve December bills and payroll.”

Second: Manning

Action: Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Rudofski, Cameron, Austin, Manning, Maurer, Wray and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Manning-“to approve the second reading of Policy updates. “

Second: Maurer

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTIION CARRIED.  
 

Motion: Rudofski-“to appoint Scott Porter as FOIA officer.”

Second: Manning

Action: Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED. 
 

Motion: Manning-“to stop all transportation for extra curricular activities starting with spring sports.”

Second: Maurer

Action: Roll Call Vote:  Yeas: Rudofski, Cameron, Manning, Maurer, Wray and Sneed.  Nay:  Austin.  MOTION 
 
 

Motion: Maurer-“to adjourn at 8:28 p.m.”
