Board of Education Meeting

December 17, 2007

          Board President Don Sneed called the regular Board of Education meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.   Upon roll call the following members were present:  John Maurer, Jim Wray, Larry Manning, Travis Cameron, Brad Austin, and Carol Rudofski.  Superintendent Scott Porter and Kim McCormick were present.  Visitors were Kent Reeves, Donna Miller, Marci Sherwin and Bart Southerd.

Motion:     Maurer-“to approve November 19, 2007 minutes.”

Second:    Wray

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Rudofski-“to approve Treasurer’s Report.”

Second:    Manning

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

Motion:     Manning-“to approve December bills and payroll.”

Second:    Rudofski

Action:      Roll Call Vote:  Yeas:  Maurer, Wray, Manning, Cameron, Austin, Rudofski, and Sneed.  MOTION CARRIED.

Kent Reeves presented the District Audit for 2006-07.

Motion:     Maurer-“to approve district audit 2006-07 as presented by Kent Reeves CPA.”

Second:    Austin

Action:      Voice Vote:  All Yeas:  MOTION CARRIED.

First Reading of Policy Updates were read

Superintendent evaluation sheets were handed out to the members.

Motion:     Maurer-“to adjourn at 7:55 p.m.”
